26th Annual Student Exhibition
LEARN MORE ABOUT WHAT WE DO
Founded in 1999 by Mareen Kirchenbaur, The Student Exhibition was created to provide an outlet for all Madison County High School students to display their works and provide motivation to further study of the arts. The Art Association of Madison County believes that expanding interest in the arts via the exhibition will make an impact on our area youth by encouraging and instilling confidence in their talents which will later mean new members. With the reduction of art in the schools, we feel this is a much-needed program

“For any young artists in Indiana, I would like to mention that all the clichés are true. You can actually do anything you want in art or otherwise, the teachers aren't kidding. The arts are often seen as obscure and formidable and esoteric. This is a mistake. The arts are simply forms of communication. Anyone can communicate. I'm convinced that anyone who genuinely tries their best to create something which speaks to them and others cannot help but succeed. There is no trick. There's no such thing as being 'gifted'. Great artists only need a certainty of vision and the will create/communicate. “
